What the listing says

The vacancy appears under Lutyens Advisory on the site's employer page. The brief description calls for an "exceptional" candidate but ends before providing further details about the role.

It is the only vacancy shown on that employer page. Readers can register for email alerts about Lutyens Advisory jobs through the site, which identifies Farmers Weekly as a tradename of Mark Allen Group.

The firm behind the search

Lutyens Advisory describes its business as executive search and human capital advice. Its clients include asset managers, family offices, entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses, for which it offers non-executive and executive recruitment and consulting across board and executive functions.

Founding partners Tanya Lutyens and Anna Rolt previously worked together at the search boutique Lutyens da Cunha.

The Farmers Weekly employer page lists the firm's address as Asham House, Ham, Wellington, Somerset TA21 9JD. That is also the registered office of Lutyens Advisory Limited, according to Companies House. The UK private limited company, number 10579830, was incorporated on January 24, 2017, and is listed as active. Its registered business activities are management consultancy other than financial management and educational support services.

Founder and earlier expansion plans

Family Capital identifies Tanya Lutyens as the firm's founder and managing director and the great-great-niece of British architect Edwin Lutyens, who designed New Delhi. Her career began in fund sales at Mercury Asset Management, now part of BlackRock. She later moved into recruitment at Armstrong International before establishing her own firm.

In October 2021, Family Capital reported that Lutyens Advisory was preparing to introduce the Family Office Collective, through which clients would be able to access services ranging from education to lifestyle. At the time, the firm was also discussing a possible partnership in the United States as part of its plans to expand there.
