Public Scope's editorial decisions are made exclusively by the editorial team, without influence from commercial partners or advertisers. No advertiser can buy favourable editorial coverage.
2. Verification
- Facts checked against official sources where possible
- Individuals or organisations named in a story contacted before publication where practicable
- Established facts clearly distinguished from estimates and analysis
3. Story selection
Stories are selected based on their informational relevance. We do not cover topics in exchange for commercial consideration.
4. Source transparency
Sources are named wherever possible. Where anonymity is requested, this is stated explicitly.
5. Separating news from opinion
Opinion pieces are clearly labelled as such.
6. Right of reply
Any person named in an article has the right to reply. We publish responses within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Corrections
Errors are corrected as quickly and transparently as possible. See our Corrections Policy.
