TK Maxx returns to Festive Farm for 2026 Christmas ad

A gift-clad family of ducks joins TK Maxx's farmyard cast in "Festive Crossing," its 2026 Christmas ad. The campaign launched online on November 5, with its television debut scheduled for November 16.

The film and its rollout

Wieden+Kennedy London created the ad, with Gary Freedman directing. The story follows a farmer and his wife home from a TK Maxx shopping trip, where they encounter ducks showing off gifts from the retailer. It returns to the setting introduced by the "Festive Farm" campaign in 2023.

The ducks' haul includes hats, sweaters, boots, sunglasses, bathrobes and a yoga mat, according to TheIndustry.fashion. "Did you tell the neighbours about the great gifts at TK Maxx, love?" the farmer asks. His wife replies: "I certainly did! Everyone loves a bargain, dear." Retail Gazette reports that Ciara's 2004 hit "Goodies" provides the soundtrack.

The November 5 launch covers video-on-demand, online video and integrated digital channels. According to Retail Gazette, activity spans Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, while the wider festive campaign includes influencer partnerships and additional social media and marketing activity.

Retail Gazette reports that the ad has a 30-second cut, alongside a 60-second version released on YouTube and TK Maxx's owned channels before its November 16, 2026, TV debut.

Gifting and the returning farmyard cast

The campaign promotes branded gifts and discounted designer products under TK Maxx's "Spoil All Your Loved Ones For Less" platform, according to TheIndustry.fashion.

Catrina Funk, TK Maxx's group brand and marketing director, said: "Christmas is all about the joy of giving, and we know shoppers are thinking carefully about how they spend, looking for great deals and thoughtful, high-quality gifts. At TK Maxx, we want to show that you can make your Christmas budget go further without compromising on quality, making it possible to spoil the people you love with great gifts at amazing value."

Funk said the response to "Festive Farm" since 2023 had encouraged the retailer to revisit it with another story and new characters. She said the team immediately liked the duck family and hoped its playful approach would make viewers smile while drawing attention to gifts available in stores and online.

For Wieden+Kennedy London creative directors Charlie Lanus and Alex Sattlecker, the aim was a cinematic, funny Christmas film that preserved the farm's charm and personality. They described the stylish ducks as newcomers with something to show the goat and alpaca.

Earlier campaigns and charity collections

The farmyard's first outing in 2023 used a different early-2000s soundtrack: Eve and Gwen Stefani's "Let Me Blow Ya Mind." According to LBBOnline, that 40-second ad premiered on November 2, 2023, during "Don't Look Down for Stand Up To Cancer" on Channel 4. It brought back the "lil' goat" character from TK Maxx's 2020 Christmas campaign.

A Christmas bear featured in the 2023 ad also formed part of the retailer's charity offering. Priced at £9.99, it generated a £3.00 donation per sale for TK Maxx's long-term partner The Prince's Trust, LBBOnline reported.

TK Maxx revisited "Festive Farm" for Christmas 2024 with character plushies depicting the farmer, his wife, the goat, duck, alpaca and hedgehog. Marketing Beat reported that £2.50 from each plush sold went to The King's Trust, formerly The Prince's Trust. That year's activity also included a three-part social series made with "Sylvanian Drama," an account on TikTok and Instagram.
