Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom take separate holidays with new partners after split
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have moved on with new partners following their June 2025 split, taking separate child-free holidays that signal the end of their nine-year relationship. The former couple, who share daughter Daisy Dove, born in August 2020, are now spending time with their respective new partners rather than maintaining the blended family structure they once built together.
Perry's relationship with Justin Trudeau
Perry has been spotted vacationing with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, whom she first met in Montreal in late July 2025, just weeks after her separation from Bloom was announced. The pair were photographed together on July 28, 2025, walking in Mount Royal Park before dining at restaurant Le Violon. Their relationship has progressed publicly since then, with the couple making their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2026 for the screening of Perry's Lifetimes Tour concert film.
Trudeau, who legally separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage, shares three children with his estranged wife: sons Xavier and Hadrien, and daughter Ella-Grace. While the legal separation agreement was signed, his divorce has not been finalized.
Bloom holidays with Swiss model Luisa Laemmel
Meanwhile, Bloom has been photographed on holiday with 28-year-old Swiss model Luisa Laemmel. The actor and Laemmel first sparked dating rumors at the 2026 Super Bowl when they were spotted leaving Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, together. Laemmel, originally from Zurich, began her modeling career at age 16 and is now based in New York City. She also holds a degree in psychology.
The history of Perry and Bloom's relationship
Perry and Bloom's relationship began in 2016, and Bloom proposed on Valentine's Day 2019. However, the couple never married despite their engagement. Their wedding plans were postponed first in late 2019 due to venue issues, then again in early 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted their plans to wed on February 27, 2020, while Perry was pregnant with their daughter.
The relationship officially ended in June 2025 after nine years together, with multiple outlets confirming the split. Sources indicated the couple's relationship had been breaking down for months before the announcement.
Bloom was previously married to Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013. He shares a son, Flynn, born January 6, 2011, with Kerr. The blended family dynamic that Perry and Bloom had created with their respective children has now dissolved as both have moved forward with their new relationships.
The separate holidays mark a clear departure from the family unit the couple once presented to the public, with both now focused on building new relationships independent of their shared past.
