Team moves from Faegre Drinker
The partners previously worked in Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath's Philadelphia office, according to Law.com (The American Lawyer). Dentons said the three had practiced together for many years.
Their clients include insurers, financial services businesses and other insurance industry participants. Alongside litigation over coverage and bad faith claims, the team handles regulatory compliance, structured settlements, long-term care insurance, and life and disability insurance matters.
Sandra Hauser, head of Dentons' US Commercial Litigation practice, called the new partners "highly regarded insurance litigators" and said their practice aligns closely with the firm's commercial litigation and insurance teams.
The three appeared together at a Faegre Drinker program on May 11, 2026, before their move. According to the firm's events page, they and colleague Chris Petillo discussed emerging issues in life, long-term care and disability insurance, including developments in fraud detection and prevention, litigation trends, policy lapse issues and non-guaranteed elements.
Insurance disputes, regulation and fraud prevention
Jones' work combines advice on insurance law, regulation and coverage with the defense of insurers in litigation and class actions. Dentons said her litigation experience extends to all 50 states. Her practice covers pet insurance as well as structured settlements and annuities, long-term care insurance, and life and disability insurance.
Before the move, Jones headed Faegre Drinker's pet insurance, long-term care insurance and structured settlement annuity practice groups, according to the North American Pet Health Insurance Association (NAPHIA). She had also served as national outside counsel to the insurance industry for nearly two decades.
Jones serves on NAPHIA's Executive Committee and co-chairs the National Structured Settlements Trade Association Legal Committee. She previously chaired the legal track of the Intercompany Long Term Care Insurance conference.
Gallagher works with insurers, reinsurers and other insurance industry stakeholders on litigation, coverage and regulatory questions nationwide. Her product experience includes property and casualty insurance, life insurance and annuities, long-term care insurance, and structured settlements. She handles high-exposure coverage and bad faith cases in both state and federal courts.
Fraud prevention is another part of Gallagher's practice. She helps insurers and other industry participants create and carry out antifraud programs, address regulatory and compliance requirements, manage investigations and disputes, and litigate fraud-related matters.
O'Driscoll represents insurers facing class actions and high-exposure coverage and extra-contractual claims involving life insurance, long-term care insurance, annuities, and property and casualty products. Dentons credited him with successful outcomes in settlements, jury trials, arbitration and appeals. He also advises on regulation and compliance and speaks on insurance industry developments.
Dentons' broader hiring
Dentons placed the team's arrival within a broader expansion of its US practices. The firm said it has recruited more than 100 lateral partners, principals and counsel since 2022.
Earlier in 2026, Dentons opened a Charleston, South Carolina, office with eight partners working across employment and labor, corporate law, and real estate. Those partners were Walker Coleman, Cecilia Ehresman, Ernie Cochran, Jamie Bruce, Cooper Hawley, Matt Norton, Amy Ironmonger and Bo Manuel.
Other partner additions to the firm's commercial litigation and worldwide insurance practices include Aidan McCormack, Erik Buzzard, Mark Deckman, J. Trumon Phillips, Robert Santoro and Brian Seibert.
